This page will briefly explain how to make a music CD to play at a party that has tons of songs on it.  If you've already mastered the art of CD burning by backing up any music you've purchased in the past and you have some basic computer skills you should have no problem with this  burning project.

With this music CD, it will be possible to burn 100s of tracks to a single CD that will play for really long time.  If you want party music but don't want to keep changing CD's this CD will play for an extended amount of time.  The music CD will even play in your car stereo, DVD player, or computer.

Here's the steps required to make a music CD for a party that has tons of songs on it:

1.   Get a CD burning program that's easy to use.

I recommend the Nero Burning ROM program for making this music CD for your party and of course for any other audio burning tasks you do.  It's easy to use and always updated so that it works the way it's supposed to, the first time.  

If you're looking to make a CD for your party that has video and audio, this program will burn video, pictures and data all onto the same CD.  The interface easily guides you through the steps necessary for whatever CD burning task you want to perform.

For those of you who are fortunate enough to have a blu-Ray player this CD burning program is one of the few that supports  blu-ray playback and burning.

2.  Find the music for the party's music CD.

Decide how much music you want to put on the CD.  I've found it possible to put 200 mp3's on a single CD and even more.  After finding the music that you want on your music CD for the party, save them into a single folder on your computer.

If you have music purchased that is on CD, Nero will allow you to easily back up and convert those CD's to mp3s.  If your music is on a music CD, then wait until you download, install, and run Nero Burning Rom to add your music.

3.  Run Nero Burning ROM.

Run Nero and navigate to the "SETTINGS" tab and select "ENCODE FILES". If your music CD is in the drive, the tracks will appear on your screen and just click "SELECT ALL" and the "GO". All tracks on the music CD will be encoded (compressed/squashed) to nearly nothing while still maintaining quality.

Depending on which version of Nero Burning ROM you have, the steps might vary slightly.  After encoding your music to mp3, you can now burn those tracks to an audio CD and you'll have a music CD for a party with tons of songs.
